 Captain's Tavern has been serving up the best seafood and cold drinks since 1971! Thats almost 40 years of doing business the right way. The restaurant and lounge is a local's favorite in the South Miami area for some time, and is a place you'd go on special occasions, or as many times as you possibly can. The food is excellent, backed up by the great service and family-friendly environment. Captain's Tavern is award winning, so set your expectations on HIGH. Samurai Japanese Steakhouse is owned and operated by a familiar name - Benihana! This is a little different, but the same great approach to eating. Foods prepared right in front of you at a big hibachi table/grill, it just doesn't get any fresher than this. The teppanyaki dining is both entertaining and delicious. There is also a sushi room and lounge, so you can get something while you're waiting for your table. This place is packed every night of the week! Krissals Bistro Grille is owned and operated by the same group as DiNapoli Italian Restaurant in Pinecrest, and the food and service is reflective of that. Quality dishes and selection of Italian favorites are featured on the menu. Krissals is located right across the street from the Falls Shopping center. The 72nd Grill and Bar is located in the dining and entertainment district of South Miami, right on Sunset Drive. The food here is tasty! Salads, Pizza, Burgers, Pasta, Steaks and more. Full bar compliments the good chow and inviting environment. C of W (Cup of Wine) is local Miami band with a great story. The band got started in 2009 by Elternative (the founder). the band's leader was a seven year old boy, who dreamed of starting his very own rock-n-roll band! Whats great is that he wanted his Mom & Dad, Aunt/Uncle to be members of the band.The Band is... Oggur P.C - Vocals, Elternative- Lead Guitar/Vocals, La Best-Tia- Drums, Ac Square- Bass Guitar. They are a family band, and they ROCK!

Right along with Sunset's other restaurants and bars, Irish Times brings the green spirit and flavor to the area. Serving cold drinks and Irish Breakfast all day and night. Steve's Pizza is one of the best pizza joints in South Florida, hands down. They have several locations, but the one in South Miami rules. We stop in for a pie or any of their homestyle meals, and stay to catch the game. Great to know that a real pizza place will still serve you a beer too. The Vilar Cigar Shop and Lounge is located right at the outer edge of the Sunset area in South Miami. Vilar has a great selection of fine smokables! Vilar has a 2nd location at 13989 South Dixie Hwy for your convenience. Kyojin Japanese Seafood Buffet Restaurant and Bar has been called one of "South Florida's Largest Upscale Buffets" and they have everything from Tempura to Teriyaki, as well as Hibachi prepared foods. Wash down some of that tasty Japanese food with a Sapporo... yes, that's it! The Siam Lotus Room Thai Restaurant and Lounge is close to the University of Miami, and is known for freshly prepared Thai food. A full beer and wine list complements the great food and service. Been there many times, will keep going back again and again. |
