The layout of this venue is broken up into three areas. The main lounge is built to host live performances and dancing. There's an open-air courtyard with private cabanas and a red-room lounge. Each area is stocked with a full bar. This two-story music box may feel slightly bigger than your efficiency apartment, but the cozy atmosphere makes for some hot live music every night. Get ready to be hit with a wave of sound when you enter -- the stage is right next to the doorway. "PROOF" Restaurant & Lounge - This is South Miami Beach's newest restaurant lounge by fan favorite Dolphin Ricky Williams and All Pro Running Back Rudy Johnson. This is what they call "A See-and-Be-Seen Setting." No kidding here, Wow!
Location in the heart of South Beach, the concept of "Proof" is luxury entertainment. The food is a fusion of local and "seasonal cuisine" driven by Chef Jordan Marano, most recently from China Grill in NY.
They have a full bar, extenstive wine and champagne, walk-in humidor for the best variety of cigars and whiskey, pool table, plasma screens and sound throughout, and the atmosphere is plushed out and laid back. Pull up a stool and dig the story of a Miami girl, Isabel Aguero, who loved to travel the world. She ventured far and wide, through towns and cities, seeing new places and faces, always meeting interesting people along the way. And when she came to a new place, she would park herself at the local pub and make friends, her favorite thing of all. So when Aguero wound up back in Miami, she set out to re-create the kind of convivial watering holes she encountered on her travels. She fixed up a barely used warehouse just west of Brickell and a block south of Tobacco Road, built a long wooden bar in the center, and through her own warmth and charm proceeded to attract all types of people from all walks of life. Transit Lounge is the kind of clean, warmly lighted place that can make Miamians feel like members of a neighborhood, no small task indeed. Voted Best New Bar by The Miami New Times!
Located Between SW 7th and 8th street right under the Metro. Parking is available at the Mary Brickell Village parking garage, and additional street/meter parking is usually available. With over 27,000 square feet of partying space and a state-of-the-art stage, this dance club is also Ft. Lauderdale's go to concert venue.
